Learning Objectives

When given information about Trauma-informed interventions participants will be able to

  1. Understand and explain how nervous system regulation allows clients to overcome their past trauma(s).
  2. Understand and apply Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Techniques to help clients regulate their nervous system in order to allow them to overcome their past trauma(s).
  3. Understand and describe how they can incorporate Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction into their therapy sessions in order to allow clients to regulate their nervous system.
