Learning Objectives

When given information about Trauma-informed interventions participants will be able to

  1. Understand and explain how nervous system regulation allows clients to overcome their past trauma(s).
  2. Understand and apply Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Techniques to help clients regulate their nervous system in order to allow them to overcome their past trauma(s).
  3. Understand and describe how they can incorporate Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction into their therapy sessions in order to allow clients to regulate their nervous system.
