“Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.” – Will Rogers

I believe that as we grow we face many challenges, and how we face those challenges often has to do with how we perceive ourselves. From a young age, we receive messages that tell us who we are and how much we matter and sometimes these messages are inaccurate and often harmful. I work with people to achieve a more accurate, positive, and healthy self-image. People we meet in life may intentionally or unintentionally deny our strengths or challenge our ability to thrive. In therapy, you will learn to address areas where you can become stronger and use your voice in a more powerful way. I want to help you learn to navigate the world and its challenges through your own lens of self-love and acceptance rather than through the images that have been projected onto you by others.

I can provide therapy for: Individuals, Teenagers / Adolescents, and Couples.

  • What you can expect from me:
    • I will meet you where you are at and learn your unique story.
    • I care deeply about people and I truly believe that we all have an innate ability to heal and learn to use our voice–if we are able to have a place to heal.
    • I believe that there are many paths available to all of us–but when life becomes difficult or trauma gets in the way, we feel limited, even trapped. I want to help you get back to having options available to walk your path.
    • Beyond talk therapy, I am also trained in EMDR therapy and can use this unique tool to help you with overcoming trauma, anxiety, and other concerns.
    • Couples Therapy: I believe that in relationships we all fall into undesired patterns that can make us feel unloved, unappreciated, and even disrespected. I am passionate about helping couples rekindle their life, help each other feel appreciated, and find mutual trust and respect that can last a lifetime. If you are in a dark place with your relationship, give couples therapy a try!
    • I can help you learn tools for stress reduction and helping the brain become more resilient through mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques.
    • In our desire to be loved, sometimes we unintentionally push others away. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy I can help you to have a relationship filled with understanding and trust.
    • I have been in the field for over 9 years and have a great deal of experience and training to make your experience the best it can be.
