Kyle King

My journey to becoming a counselor is deeply rooted in a lifelong passion for helping people by meeting them where they are, seeking to understand their challenges, and collaboratively finding solutions that foster growth and resilience. Before transitioning to counseling, I served as the CEO of a lending company dedicated to empowering small businesses to thrive within the community. This role strengthened my passion for community support and social justice, values that I now bring into my counseling practice.

As a counselor, I incorporate a person-centered approach with an initial focus on the principles of TF-CBT and DBT. I enjoy working with a variety of individuals from adolescents, emerging adults, adults, couples, and families from all walks of life, including the LGBTQIA+ community. When you meet me for counseling, you can expect a warm, welcoming environment where your concerns are heard and valued. I pride myself on having a calm, non-judgmental demeanor to create a safe space for you to express yourself openly. My sessions are structured yet flexible, allowing us to tailor our work to your unique needs and goals.

“Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it. My optimism, then, does not rest on the absence of evil, but on a glad belief in the preponderance of good and a willing effort always to cooperate with the good, that it may prevail.” Helen Keller
