My name is Maryam Thomas and I am a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. I have spent numerous years working in various mental health settings assisting underserved populations in diverse communities. I have gone through several professional development training sessions that have helped prepare me and kept me knowledgeable about things that are happening in our and surrounding communities.

Maryam Thomas MA LLPC is a therapist in Grand Rapids, MI and Ada Township who specializes in trauma-informed counseling as well as working with families and teenagers. Maryam is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and is EMDR therapy trained. She is knowledgeable in providing psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and anger management. Her focus is to help people by providing empirically proven counseling sessions that are customized and beneficial for all people’s mental wellbeing, in order to achieve positive change.
