Natalie's Bio

Once you start approaching your body with curiosity rather than with fear, everything shifts. -Bessel Van der Kolk

At times, life can feel overwhelming. Each day we all make choices that influence our thoughts, feelings, and actions. Yet, healing comes in many forms. One of the ways I work with people is learning to stay present and increasing your self-awareness. This skill can grant us an incredible power to own our experiences and the ability to write our own story–no matter what has happened in our life. Research shows that to change the way you feel, you must first learn to become more familiar with and accept your inner experience. Our bodies are constantly reacting to experiences even before we process them mentally. Sometimes our behaviors can even react to events before we are conscious of them. When we learn to listen to our bodies and thoughts with intention, there is no limit to your potential for growth and awareness. I want to help you feel like the pilot of your experience and the captain of your life. As a therapist, I believe we all have an innate capacity to heal, grow and be the change we need inside.

As a trauma-informed clinician, I will be the guide for you in your journey of self-discovery. I utilize evidence-based treatments to identify and achieve your goals. I utilize body-based interventions, like yoga and guided meditation, when possible to help integrate the mind, body and soul connection because I believe the whole of a person is greater than the sum of their parts. I have experience working with children and adolescents who have a history of trauma, specifically, all forms of abuse and neglect. I work with parents to create connection and cohesion within the family unit. I offer a safe space to be heard, find your meaning and create a thriving future full of promise. I would be honored to help you tap into your full potential and gain an understanding of your world in order to thrive within it.
