I have nearly ten years of experience in the mental health field, providing care for a wide variety of adolescents and adults in residential and community settings. I have acquired skills working with clients with mild to severe mental health, behavioral and co-occurring disorders. My therapeutic expertise is in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Focused Therapy, Equine Therapy, Substance Abuse treatment, and I am developing my skill in Collaborative Problem Solving tools. I have my CAADC (Certified Advance Addiction and Drug Counselor) and QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional) credentials. Program development and court advocacy in speciality courts. I also served as a supervisor and trainer in the residential programs with direct care staff. I gained knowledge to appropriately screen individuals for various levels of crisis care and assess risk level. Internships completed: Outpatient female human trafficking and SUD group/individual therapist, and court representative/advocate and Outpatient adolescent substance abuse group and individual therapy leader at Wedgwood Christian Services.Credentials

My name is Nia Wolfe, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with CAADC and QIDP credentials. I have extensive experience and training in DBT, TF-CBT and Motivational Interviewing styles of therapy. I am familiar with using therapeutic skills in a variety of settings and ways to best fit each individual client. I like to personalize the therapeutic experience to the individual, as no one’s life experience is the same and therapy should be customized to your life.
