“To the mind that is still the entire universe surrenders.” Lao Tzu

It takes great strength for you to be here. Life can be draining, stressful, anxiety-provoking, hectic, chaotic and at times, saddening, while wonderful, all at the same time. Maybe you are worried or worn down by things lately, finding yourself reexamining and taking inventory of your life. Perhaps you have lost someone dear to you and are struggling to find meaning again.

It is a privilege to witness your lived experience together and I would be honored if you would allow me to walk alongside you in this next step in your journey. As someone who is eager to co-write your story with you, I come from a background in creative writing and counseling as well as psychology. I believe everyone has a story to tell, which can be rewritten. Rewriting your story can be a powerful instrument of healing, as well as a testament to the human condition.

As a person-centered therapist, I believe you are the expert over your own lived experience. I may also borrow (if applicable) from Narrative Therapy, CBT, Humanistic Counseling, Existentialism, Strengths-Based Approaches and Play therapy. I believe counseling is a collaborative process that works best when the two parties are involved and partnering together in the therapeutic relationship. I look forward to working with you in this next chapter in your life and creating great healing together.
