What is Health and Lifestyle Coaching? in Grand Rapids, MI
So chances are if you find yourself here reading this, you’ve contemplated seeing a coach, or at the very least are curious as to what coaching is and how it can help you. As a certified coach and wellness expert, people often assume that I was born doing yoga and eating clean, however, it was not so long ago that I myself was really struggling with my health and unsure how or even if I could fix it. I believed that the tools on how to “heal myself” were simply a google search away, yet all that information did was leave me feeling overwhelmed and even more confused as to what I had to do to feel better. I needed someone to guide me, keep me accountable, and remind me that my journey would be different than others. The search to heal my own body finally led me to see multiple wellness professionals, trained in natural therapies and approaches. These individuals, in particular, my naturopathic consultant, were the catalyst for my mental and physical health recovery. It was that journey to recover my health, that allowed me to find my passion, of helping others to recover their own, using a holistic non-traditional approach.
As I write this today, I can tell you there are many different types of coaches and wellness practitioners out there. There are life coaches, fitness coaches, business coaches, nutritionists, naturopaths, and the list goes on.
