Dr. Karthik Ramanan discusses many techniques he utilizes with individual clients and how he works to educate the public with “The Dr. K show.” Dr. K discusses how EMDR therapy helped him get through a difficult time and how he employed that along with other strategies to help him move through. Dr. K is open and authentic about the experiences he has gone through and will share his own struggles if it means he can help others. One may be inspired at how Dr. K discusses his ups and downs so openly and works on practical solutions for them. Paul and Dr. K discuss multiple ways that anyone can help themselves in a practical way, as well as clinical interventions that help as well.

Dr. Karthik Ramanan is a naturopathic medical consultant, the host of the weekly online show, “The Dr. K Show”, and an inspirational speaker. Dr. K specializes in lifestyle medicine and everyday mental health, as well as helps ambitious individuals end their self-criticism. He teaches the principles of everyday mental health through the lens of his own personal health and psychological transformation and combines his education and experience as a physician to help others. He inspires achievement-oriented individuals to get out of their own way, take intentional action, and create their ideal version of themselves to lead a purpose-driven life.

Paul Krauss MA LPC is the Clinical Director of Health for Life Counseling Grand Rapids, home of The Trauma-Informed Counseling Center of Grand Rapids. Paul is also a Private Practice Psychotherapist, host of the Intentional Clinician podcast, Behavioral Health Consultant, Clinical Trainer, and Counseling Supervisor. Dr. Ramanan graduated from Cornell University with dual BS degrees in Applied Economics & Management as well as Biological Sciences. After his undergraduate studies, he worked for Goldman Sachs in New York for eight years where he served in the Futures and Listed Derivatives businesses, sharpening his client relationship and communication skills while developing a deep understanding of human behavior and the stresses many Americans face while working in corporate America. During his final years in the finance industry, he discovered the power of plant-based nutrition, lost 100 pounds, and found himself called to naturopathic medicine. He moved to Tempe, Arizona to attend Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona and graduated with his consultantate in 2017.

He and his wife, Dr. Samantha Ramanan, live in Chandler, Arizona with their dog, Toby, and are deeply passionate about helping others live life and experience their careers at the highest level.
