Integrative Cardiology and Mental Health with Dr. Dave Johnson, MD FACC (Grand Rapids, MI)

[Episode 75 of The Intentional Clinician podcast]

In this episode, Paul Krauss MA LPC discusses several health approaches with Dr. Dave Johnson, MD FACC, including Integrative Cardiology.

Dave Johnson, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with over two decades of clinical expertise in cardiovascular medicine and is one of the few cardiologists with extensive integrative medicine training. As a result, Dr. Johnson not only understands the importance of medical innovation, but he will also assist you in discovering health and well-being while reducing the need for later medical intervention.

Dr. Johnson finds it extremely rewarding to share his knowledge and habits with others in order to help them improve their health. In his practice, he helps people understand that they aren’t defective, deficient, or poisonous; rather, a range of imbalances arise that either support or hurt our resilience and health. Restorative health can be achieved through learning to overcome detrimental societal conventions and behaviours.

What are the benefits of Integrative Wellness Grand Rapids? Dr. Johnson is a proponent of value-based healthcare, which focuses on disease prevention and reversal rather than chronic disease management, which is the most common paradigm in current American healthcare.

He also believes in an integrative medical model, which includes a group of skilled and diverse healthcare professionals who take a more holistic approach to health and well-being. Dr. Johnson and his staff will help you discover the answers that develop resilience while preventing and treating cardiovascular disease if you seek counsel from a dedicated specialist who has spent his professional and personal life to understanding the origins of wellbeing.

Dr. Johnson is a strong supporter of Integrative Medicine and Naturopathic Medicine in the United States. He was a contributor to and supporter of the Institute for for Natural Medicine‘s recent white paper on Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Johnson also offers telehealth only booking times. If you cannot find a time that works for you below, please call 616-899-9447 and ask about additional telehealth options.
