Richard Brockman, a psychiatrist, dramatist, and survivor, explores his childhood trauma in Life After Death: Surviving Suicide. This very intimate look explores loss, perseverance, and the power of storytelling through the narrative of a man who has been broken and then rebuilt.

Richard Brockman, MD is a clinical professor of psychiatry at Columbia University and a visiting professor at the University of Namibia’s psychiatric department. He has received the Nancy C.A. Roeske Award for medical student education from the American Psychiatric Association and the Victor J. Teichner Visiting Scholar Award from the American Academy of Psychoanalysis and Dynamic Psychiatry for his teaching. His plays have been presented off-Broadway and on worldwide venues.

Paul Krauss MA LPC is the Clinical Director of Health for Life Counseling Grand Rapids, home of The Trauma-Informed Counseling Center of Grand Rapids. Paul is also a Private Practice Psychotherapist, an Approved EMDRIA Consultant , host of the Intentional Clinician podcast, Behavioral Health Consultant, Clinical Trainer, and Counseling Supervisor.
