Good news! Most therapists at Health for Life Counseling Grand Rapids and the Trauma-Informed Counseling Center of Grand Rapids are in-network with Aetna Health Insurance. Note: We take ANY Aetna Health Insurance plan from any of the 50 states including Michigan. No matter what State (Illinois, California, Florida, even Maine!) your Aetna Health Insurance is through—we accept it and we are in-network!
Using Aetna Health Insurance with our Grand Rapids counselors is easy. Simply bring in your Aetna Health Insurance card and complete the “new client” insurance form with your therapist. Once you do that, your counselor will make sure to use our secure service to submit your sessions to Aetna Health Insurance.
Depending on your insurance plan, you may owe a copay, co-insurance, or a deductible fee at the time of your counseling session—this will be collected by your therapist at the end of session. You may use your HSA card at this time if you have one. Other times, Aetna Health Insurance may pay for your counseling session completely depending on your insurance plan and you may owe nothing for the service. To understand more about your insurance plan, please contact Aetna Health Insurance and ask them what they cover in terms of “Outpatient Counseling.”
Be sure to call your Aetna Health Insurance representative to ask questions about using your insurance for counseling. If your Aetna Health Insurance representative has questions, please have them reference your therapist’s name (or their Supervisor’s Name), and let them know that the official group name is “Intentional Counseling Grand Rapids LLC.”
We look forward to serving you by providing excellent therapy services at this time, while accommodating your insurance plan.
